The Canadian show that leaves audiences begging for more is on its way to a town near you this summer, beginning this weekend, June 4th.
This is the show that has raised over $100,000 for THE CHILDREN'S WISH FOUNDATION" in the past few years and in 2010 continues its efforts to support various Canadian charities.
Audiences who come out to support these charities leave with smiles on their faces after watching two talented artists bring them 9 different characters in a thrilling 90-minute show that pays tribute to some of the world's greatest musicians and stars. You get to enjoy the songs of Canadian superstar, Shania Twain, British legend George Harrison, the incredible soul-touching songs of the unforgettable Patsy Cline followed by the great hits of everyone's favourite, Buddy Holly.
Audience members laugh themselves silly when Marilyn Monroe moves amongst them and singles out the gents in the audience, planting a kiss here or sitting on someone's lap there, and after the intermission, Sonny tries to convince Cher that "I've got you Babe"! While Cher is backstage changing, the legendary Roy Orbison sings about that "Pretty Woman", and he's followed by superstar signer/songwriter, Neil Diamond who gets the ladies swooning with his sounds and hip action!
Then finally, the woman who really knows how to shake up an audience makes her entrance! A "white hot" Tina Turner tears up the stage belting out some of her greatest hits, including a thumping "Proud Mary", leaving everyone gasping for air. As the audience exits, they get to meet the stars and are often shocked to find there are only 2 "stars", not 9 as they thought. They can't believe that the same gal who touched our hearts with Patsy Cline 70 minutes or so earlier is the same gal who blew them away as Tina Turner at the end of the show!
